MEET THE TEAM

Samantha Anderson (she/her) - MSPA-CPSP

SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Sam is a paediatric speech pathologist with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Newcastle and the founder of Snapdragon Speech.

She has experience working across community health, residential aged care, acute hospital, not-for-profit and private practice settings. While these experiences have provided a broad clinical foundation, Sam's passion has always been working with children and their families.

As a neurodivergent speech pathologist, Sam is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming, family-centred support that celebrates each child's unique strengths. She enjoys partnering with families to build practical communication skills in ways that are meaningful, engaging and tailored to each child.

Sam particularly enjoys supporting:

  • Neurodivergent children, including autistic and ADHD children
  • Late talkers and early language development
  • Children with speech sound differences
  • Language delays and language disorders
  • Social communication
  • Early literacy and school readiness
  • Parent coaching to support communication in everyday life

Outside of work, Sam is kept busy by her two young children, and their much-loved dog. When she manages to find a little spare time, you'll usually find her reading (especially anything about Henry VIII and the Tudor period), tackling a home project, or enthusiastically singing along to Disney movies with her family.
